Women: Family matchday with autograph session against Werder Bremen

Bayer 04 have organised a range of events at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium for the home game against Werder Bremen Sunday, 16 March. Part of the family matchday is an autograph session with two of the currently injured players Katharina Piljic and Vanessa Haim.

Werkself fans can buy tickets as usual from the online shop or from the matchday ticket office. Ahead of the game on Matchday 16, with the kick-off at 14:00 CET, there will be hands-on events on offer when the stadium opens at 13:00 CET. On the west side of the BayArena there will be a bouncy castle for the youngest Bayer 04 fans. Games and fun are also guaranteed with table football as well as human table football.

Between 13:15 CET and 13:45 CET, midfielder Piljic and striker Haim from the Women’s Bundesliga squad will sign autographs and pose for selfies/photographs. In addition to a catering stand at the stadium entrance there will be the chance to enjoy food and drink on benches and tables.

Ernest Poku is leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen to play in the Turkish Süper Lig. The club has loaned the Dutch winger to Beşiktaş for one year. If certain criteria are met, the Istanbul club – who finished fourth in the Turkish top flight last season – will be obliged to make the move permanent.

The fixture details for the Bayer 04 Women’s first match in the 2026/27 DFB Pokal has been confirmed: As announced by the German Football Association (DFB) on Thursday morning, the Leverkusen Women will face second-tier side FC Viktoria Berlin in the first round on Sunday 27 September at 14:00 CEST.

Here we go: the Bayer 04 European jersey has landed, and the draw for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League is coming up tomorrow. To mark the start of the 2026/27 European campaign, Bayer 04 are hosting an autograph session on Friday afternoon, 28 August, from 15:00 to 15:30 CEST at the Fanwelt, with current Werkself player Montrell Culbreath and official club legend Paulo Sergio. Brian the Lion will also be there.
