“Caroline is a true team player who brings the utmost commitment and maximum input to the team in every training session and match. We’re delighted we continue to have a player of such qualities in our ranks,” said Bayer 04 Women sporting director Achim Feifel: “With her athleticism and physical play, she really helps our team.”

Kehrer, who joined Bayer 04 from Portuguese side SC Braga in 2024, has made 40 competitive appearances for the Werkself. She has scored seven goals in 35 Bundesliga matches. The 29-year-old has featured in 16 league matches this season.

“I enjoy playing for this club in the Bundesliga. Bayer 04 have ambitious goals, which is why they’re still exactly the right team for me,” said Kehrer: “I’m really looking forward to scoring even more goals and improving as a player. Next season, I want to go for the top three and advance to the cup final with the team.”
