“Selina has developed into one of the foundations of our defence. She gives the team a great deal of stability with her tackling and ball-playing ability,” said Achim Feifel, Bayern 04 Women sporting director. “Her latest contract extension is an important step for us in terms of continuity beyond this season.”
Ostermeier previously extended her deal in Leverkusen last June. The Werkself's No.2 joined Bayer 04 from Essen in 2022 and has so far made 42 competitive appearances for the first team, scoring one goal.
“Bayer 04 offers me the ideal conditions to continue to develop as a player, and I feel the trust of the coach, the team and everyone in charge,” said Ostermeier. “I also feel very much at home here in a sporting and personal sense. I firmly believe we can achieve a lot together in the coming years.”
