Poland international Paulina Tomasiak moves to Bayer 04

"Paulina brings international experience as well as great dynamism and sprinting strength," explained Achim Feifel, Bayer 04 Women's sporting director. "She's impressive one-v-one, is brave in looking for the direct route to goal and can finish well with both feet. Because of her flexibility, she can also be deployed in different positions, thus expanding our tactical options. What's more, her signing is an important signal of our sporting ambitions."

Tomasiak has scored seven goals in 19 international appearances for Poland to date and took part in the 2025 European Championship in Switzerland. Over the past two seasons, she netted 12 goals in 33 competitive games for Gornik Leczna in the Polish top flight. This is her first move abroad.

"When I received the offer, I felt very honoured and didn't have to think about it for long," said Tomasiak. "I want to make the next step in my career and I see this as the ideal place to do that. First I want to settle in quickly in the Bundesliga and then help the team with my goalscoring qualities."
