We couldn't give her the prospect of more playing time a player with her experience would hope for. We would like to thank her for her commitment and wish her all the best for the future."
Vidal joined Leverkusen two years ago from the then Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht. She made a total of 37 appearances (scoring one goal) for the Werkself, including 14 in the 2025/26 season.
"Over the past two years, I've been able to develop in a great environment at Bayer 04. I am really grateful to the club and the management," said Vidal: "I’m now looking for a new challenge in the next stage of my career."
