Carlotta Wamser leaves Bayer 04 for Manchester City

Wamser joined Bayer 04 from Eintracht Frankfurt in May 2025. That summer, she made her breakthrough for Germany as a full-back at the European Championship in Switzerland, where she reached the semi-finals. She made 21 competitive appearances (two goals) for the Werkself and was also in the starting line-up for the season's opening 2-0 win against RB Leipzig. She has scored two goals in 14 international appearances for Germany to date.
