Bayer 04 Women’s goalkeeping coach Patrick Bade extends contract

“We’re very happy with Patrick’s work,” said Achim Feifel, head of Bayer 04 Women. “His expertise and character have played a big part in the always positive development of our goalkeepers.”

Bade, who himself spent 11 years in the Bayer 04 youth system as a player, has been coaching the Werkself’s goalkeepers since the 2023/24 season while also working with the U8s to U13s. “Alongside my long connection to the club and the city, my everyday work with the goalkeepers and the other coaches made me want to sign a long-term deal,” he said. “I’d like to thank the club for the trust and am very happy to still be part of Bayer 04.”
