Born in Berlin, she played for RB Leipzig from 2020 and was an undisputed regular first choice in recent years. She has scored five goals in 66 Bundesliga games for Leipzig, including three this season. Prior to that, Müller scored a total of 42 goals in 122 second division games for RBL and her former team FFC Turbine Potsdam II.
"I'm looking forward to the new challenge at Bayer 04," said Müller: "The team has continuously improved over the past few years. I want to use my versatility, my pace and my dribbling to ensure that development continues."

Werkself player Montrell Culbreath and Bayer 04 loanee Francis Onyeka are part of Germany's final squad for the U19 European Championships this summer. The tournament is in Wales from 24 June to 12 July.

Bayer 04 are away to third-division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the first round of the 2026/27 DFB Pokal. That was the outcome of the draw on Saturday night, 6 June, at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. The Werkself first round tie will be played between 21 and 24 August.
