Thanks to her profile, we've been focussing on her for some time now and we still see she has a lot of potential to develop."

Since 2022, Kowalski has played a total of 85 Bundesliga matches for SGS Essen, scoring 17 goals and providing 19 assists. She played for all Germany junior teams from the U15s to the U23s up to 2024 and she was crowned European U17 champion in Bulgaria in 2019.
"I want to take the next step here at Leverkusen and continue to develop. Bayer 04 are the ideal club for that," says Kowalski: "I hope to use my qualities to help the team achieve great things."
