Ostermeier moved to Leverkusen from league rivals SGS Essen in 2022 and has made 31 competitive appearances for the Werkself to date (one goal), nine of which came in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga last season.
"I decided to stay at Bayer 04 because I consider the conditions here to be very good for my personal development and I simply feel at home in the team," said Ostermeier: "I want to go for it again because I can now concentrate 100 per cent on football after completing my training. I'm looking forward to the new season with our new coach Roberto Pätzold and hope that we can all achieve our goals together."
