After the winter break, the Bayer 04 Women's team return to action on Sunday 7 February at 14.00 CET with a match at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The Werkself Women have another away game at MSV Duisburg on Sunday 14 February (14.00 CET).

The background to the adjustment to the overall fixture list: The Women's fixture list has been updated by the DFB because matchday 22 in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga would have fallen in the FIFA release period from 7 to 15 June. Matchday 19 has been brought forward to 5-7 February. In addition, matchday is 20 to 22 will be played two weeks earlier (7 to 9 May; 23 May and 6 June).

Show moreThe Bayer 04 Women have secured their first win of the season thanks to three summer signings. Vanessa Fudalla (3’), Valentina Mädl (6’) and Carlotta Wamser (61’) scored to earn a hard-fought 3-2 victory against ambitious promoted side Union Berlin. In front of 996 spectators at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium, the Berliners were able to get into the game after a tremendous start by the Werkself. In the final minutes of the game, Leverkusen fought hard to hold on to the first three points of the season.
