The team led by head coach Achim Feifel started training after the winter break last week, initially working from home. The players were able to return to the training ground on Tuesday following the obligatory coronavirus tests on Monday.
All of the preparations for the remaining ten games in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga will take place in Leverkusen after the cancellation of the one-week training camp on Gran Canaria due to the development of the pandemic. Three and a half weeks remain before the first match of the year for the Werkself Women's team away to TSG Hoffenheim on Sunday 7 February.
