Rudelić leaves Bayer 04
After two and a half years at Leverkusen, striker Ivana Rudelić is leaving the Bayer 04 Women’s team with immediate effect to rejoin her former club Bayern Munich.
The Croatia international joined the Werkself in 2018/19 from relegated FF USV Jena. The 28-year-old played for the current league leaders FC Bayern from 2008 to 2014.
Bayer 04 thank the player with 168 Bundesliga appearances for her time at Leverkusen. Rudelić made 56 appearances for the Black and Reds and scored 17 goals.

Werkself beaten 4-1 by Stuttgart at start of the year
The Werkself began 2026 with defeat, losing 4-1 at home to VfB Stuttgart on Matchday 16 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga. Jamie Leweling opened the scoring early, with Maximilian Mittelstädt making it 2-0 from a penalty before Leweling again and Deniz Undav increased the lead to 4-0 just before half-time. Alejandro Grimaldo's penalty reduced the deficit midway through the second period.
