This means the Bundesliga games for the Bayer 04 Women on matchday 17 against MSV Duisburg and on matchday 18 away to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim plus the DFB cup quarter-final – also against Hoffenheim – will not now take place.
It remains to be seen what will happen with fixtures in the competitions after 19 April. In a conference call on Monday afternoon, members of the Women's Bundesliga committee agreed to continually reassess the situation through regular discussions between clubs, authorities and the DFB.
The Werkself Women are currently working on individual training regimes; full training is set to resume on Wednesday.

Rüdiger Vollborn has been at the club for 40 years, he holds the record number of Bundesliga appearances for the club (401) and is the only Bayer 04 player to have won both the UEFA Cup (1988) and the DFB Pokal (1993).
