The viewing party marked another successful chapter in the first season of the official Werkself Warriors USA supporters club. Officially inaugurated as an official Bayer 04 Fan Club last fall, the New York-based group built momentum and members throughout the season with watch parties at Legends in November and December before hosting another gathering in March for the away match against Heidenheim at Carlow East on the city's Upper East Side.
Saturday’s event brought together supporters from throughout the city as fans met-up at the popular mid-town sports bar Smithfield Hall wearing black and red to cheer on Die Werkself in the late-season clash. “We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the enthusiasm and passion shown by Bayer 04 supporters throughout the New York area this season,” said Werkself Warriors USA co-founder Alex Kramm. “Every event has had a great community vibe and it’s been exciting to see new faces become part of the group. We’re already looking forward to organizing more gatherings and events throughout the 2026-27 season.”

The Werkself Warriors USA supporters club was created to connect Bayer 04 supporters across the New York metropolitan area while strengthening the club’s growing international fan presence in North America. Kramm represented the club in Leverkusen during a special 50th anniversary for Bayer 04 Fan Club Celebration at the BayArena earlier this year.
