ENTRY REQUIREMEMTS FOR AZERBAIJAN

Before travelling ensure you find out about vital information regarding Azerbaijan. We have put together several important points here:

  • On arrival:
  • Valid passport required (must be valid for at least three months after the planned departure date or the validity of the visa)
  • Complete customs declaration (including valuables, tobacco, alcohol, commercial goods, cash)
  • Have details of accommodation to hand – can be required to be shown
  • In the country:
  • Cash is available from cash dispensers (in limited amounts) using a credit card or via cash exchange at a bureau de change
  • The strict laws on drugs must be adhered to

Immigration and customs requirements for German citizens can be changed at short notice without the Federal Foreign Office being informed. Therefore, please enquire before travel with the diplomatic missions in the destination country.

STADIUM

  • Stadium opens: 19.45 (local time) – Kick-off: 21.45 (local time)
  • Away section: Entrance C (South) – next to Restaurant Qebele-Xanlar
  • Away block: Block 28
  • Security checks by the police will take place at the entrance to the stadium.
  • Random alcohol breathalyser checks are possible - heavily intoxicated persons may be refused entry
  • Smoking is banned throughout the stadium
  • There are no left luggage facilities in the away section
  • Payment for food and drink: all usual payment methods (cash in manat plus credit cards)

match tickets/ticket office

  • The sales process in Leverkusen has finished.
  • All tickets were sent out by Monday at the latest. Fans who have not received a ticket by Tuesday should email info@bayer04.de
  • Matchday ticket office: closed
  • Print@home tickets can also be read on mobile phone.

Schwadbud

Bayer 04 fans staying at home have the opportunity to watch the game at the Schwadbud. Doors open one hour before kick-off. It's a case of first-come, first-served. There will be no table reservations. The Schwadbud will close shortly after the end of the game.

Fan items

  • Permitted items:
    - Five flags up to a maximum of 2 metres in length with plastic pole (PVC)
    - Fan club banners and flags on fences (Providing space is available - emergency exits must be kept clear)
  • ALL items must be registered with us beforehand via email to fanbetreuung@bayer04.de

Meeting Point

As it stands, there is NO meeting point. If this changes, we will provide information via our social media channels.

Rucksacks & BAGS

  • Bags and rucksacks: Up to A4 size are permitted
  • There are no left luggage facilities

CAMERAs

  • Film and sound recordings for private purposes only
  • NO professional equipment allowed (e.g. telephoto lenses, camera bags, additional lenses, tripods, screw-mountable cameras)

Battling Werkself lose 2-0 in Athens

It was a disappointing night in Athens: The Werkself lost 2-0 away to Olympiacos on Matchday 7 in the league phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign. In a match that was intense and fiery from the outset, the high-pressing home side made the better start and took the lead through Costinha on two minutes. Although the Werkself had a number of chances to equalise, the clinical Greek side increased the lead to 2-0 shortly before half-time (45+1’). In the second half, Leverkusen once again gave their all and showed total commitment but, despite their best efforts, the Black and Reds were unable to break down the Olympiacos defence on the night.
