Fan information for Köln away game

Visiting the cathedral city: on Matchday 24 of the current Bundesliga season, the Werkself are away to 1. FC Köln on Sunday 3 March (kick-off 15:30 CET). The Bayer 04 Fan Liaison team brings you all the info you need for the match at the Rheinenergiestadion.,.

Stadium

  • Stadium opens at 13:30 - kick-off at 15:30
  • Away fans entrance: north-east entrance
  • Away blocks: N6, N15, N16, O1 & O11
  • In the Rheinenergiestadion and its surroundings, a ban imposed by the City of Cologne's public order office applies from three hours before the start of the match until three hours after the end of the match, which prohibits the carrying of glass bottles, glasses and drinks cans. This ban also applies to our visitors' car park P4
  • The usual security checks will take place at the entrance to the stadium
  • Alcohol breathalyser checks are possible - heavily intoxicated persons may be refused entry
  • There's no drop-off point at the away block
  • Payment for food and drinks is cashless only (Girocard, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) 
  • By purchasing a ticket, you accept the currently valid stadium regulations for the Rheinenergiestadion and the General Ticket Terms and Conditions (ATGB) of 1. FC Köln
  • Smoking is banned in the stands (standing and seating)

  • Ticket sales in Leverkusen have finished. All tickets have been sold
  • No tickets available on the day
  • print@home tickets are readable from a mobile phone as long as the screen is bright and not damaged

Nordkurve12 fan march

At 12 noon there will be a fan march of the Nordkurve12 from the main railway station to Neumarkt. From there, special trams will take you to the stadium on the north side.

Please note that boarding the special trains at Neumarkt will take some time. Please be patient and listen to the announcements of the police, Fan Liaison and the Cologne authorities.

New route: relief train for Bayer 04 fans

There have been unexpected changes regarding the relief train. It will arrive at Cologne Central Station. From there, walk to Neumarkt and from there take the special train to the stadium. The return journey will be by special railway to Cologne Messe/Deutz and from there by relief train to Leverkusen Mitte.

Outward:

Departing 11:06 CET: Leverkusen Mitte (Platform 4)

Arriving 11:19 CET: Cologne Central Station (Platform 8)

Return:

Departing 18:39 Uhr: Cologne Messe/Deutzz (Platform 1)

Arriving 18:49 CET: Leverkusen Mitte (Platform 4)

WARNING: The carrying of glass bottles is forbidden. Public transport tickets are valid for the relief train. The admission ticket for the Rheinenergiestadion includes a travel ticket within the VRS area. This can be generated by entering the ticket number (top right of the ticket) under the following link: HERE

Travelling by coach, 9-seater, car

  • Visitors car park P4 via exit "103, Köln-Lövenich" (Google Maps coordinates)
  • SatNav address: Aachener Str. 800, 50933 Köln
  • Parking fees - car: €7; 9-seater: €14; coach: €20

Travelling by public transport

  • If you are travelling by public transport, please take the KVB line 1 to the "Rheinenergiestadion" stop. On matchday, there will also be special trains from the "Neumarkt" stop and from "Köln Messe/Deutz". These are NOT only for Bayer 04 fans
  • The admission ticket for the Rheinenergiestadion includes a travel ticket within the VRS area. This can be generated by entering the ticket number (top right of the ticket) under the following link: HERE
