PLEASE NOTE: Taking glass bottles with you is prohibited. Smoking is also prohibited on the train. There will be no ticket sales for the relief train. Public transport tickets apply. A user ticket is required to use the relief train. If you do not yet have one, you can obtain the remaining user tickets from the Bayer 04 Fan Liaison team at Opladen station for as long as possible. Find out in advance which fare you can use to get to Paderborn.

SC Paderborn 07 has been running the "Which way to Panama?" protection concept since the 2024/25 season. If you or someone close to you needs support or help, you can contact a steward or staff at the catering kiosks or by telephone using the phrase/code "Which way to Panama?". Emergency assistance will be provided on site by the medical services. Due to sector separation, the person requiring assistance will be picked up from the visitor area and escorted to a safe room.

Today brings the first match of the season for the Werkself. Bayer 04 kick off the 2026/27 campaign today, Saturday 22 August, at 13:00 CEST with a first-round DFB Pokal tie away to third-tier side SV Wehen Wiesbaden. The 3,700 travelling fans can not only look forward to what will hopefully be a successful start to the season, but also now organise their journeys to Black and Reds games even more easily via the WERKSELFgo car-share platform. Carolin Simon is the new captain of the Bayer 04 women’s team. The full-back, who joined from Bayern Munich in the summer, will take over the captain’s armband for the 2026/27 season. Simon returned to Leverkusen in the summer after ten years away. The 33-year-old succeeds goalkeeper Friederike Repohl, who retired at the end of last season.
