GENERAL INFORMATION

We would like to advise you that it is recommended that you wear neutral clothing or cover up visible Bayer 04 colours when going to and from the game. This is for your own protection. This is independent advice and has no relation to the respective host clubs.

STADIUM

  • Stadium opens: 13:30 CEST – kick-off: 15:30 CEST
  • Away entrance: Süd/Ost
  • Away blocks: J (Standing), H & I (Seated)
  • The usual security checks will take place on entering the stadium
  • Alcohol checks are possible at any time - people under the influence of alcohol may be refused entry.
  • There are storage facilities in the away section with limited capacity.
  • Food and drink can be paid for by card only.
  • Smoking is strictly banned in the seated areas.
  • By purchasing a ticket, the currently valid stadium regulations for the MEWA Arena and the General Ticket Terms and Conditions (ATGB) at 1. FSV Mainz 05 are accepted.

  • Food and drink taken in, excluding non-alcoholic beverages in Tetra Paks no larger than 0.25 litres

  • Cannabis - possession or  consumption
  • Tubular scarves

TICKETS/MATCHDAY TICKET OFFICE

  • Ticket sales in Leverkusen have ended.
  • All tickets have been sold. There will be no ticket office on matchday.
  • The print@home tickets can be shown from a smartphone.
  • FSV Mainz 05 will charge a service fee of € 5 for reprints.

Important ticketing information: If you have not received your ticket by Friday, 16 May at 14.00 or have misplaced your ticket, please contact the Bayer 04 service centre. On the day of the match, we as fan support have NO possibility of helping you with lost/undelivered tickets.

FAN PARAPHERNALIA

  • Permitted items:
    • Flags up to max. 2.0 metre pole length and with hollow plastic tube (PVC)
    • Fan club banners and fence flags (providing space is available - emergency exits must be kept clear)
    • For other fan materials please submit an email in advance to: fanbetreuung@bayer04.de
  • Banner and material checks
    • Cage at the entrance to the away section
    • With three members of the Fan Liaison team

GUIDE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

DIRECTIONS & PARKING

Travelling by bus / 9-seater

  • Buses & 9-seaters must be registered with number plate by two days before the game at the latest via email to fanbetreuung@bayer04.de to ensure smooth operation on the day
  • Approach via Saarstraße / Koblenzer Str.
  • Satnav address: Eugen-Salomon-Straße 1, 55128 Mainz
  • Cost: € 20 Euro for buses, € 10 for 9-seaters (cash only)

Travelling by car

  • There are no car parking spaces available at the MEWA Arena.
  • Away fans travelling by car can park in the free park-and-ride car park at the fair grounds.
  • Satnav address: Genfer Allee, 55129 Mainz
  • Cost: free of charge

Travelling by public transport

  • If you are travelling by public transport, free shuttle buses are available at the main train station.
  • The match ticket is NOT valid for travel on the local transport network

  • Non-alcoholic drinks in 0.25 litre Tetra Paks may be taken in
  • Payment possible by card only

RUCKsacks and bags

  • Bags and backpacks: Up to a size of 30 x 30 x 15 cm are permitted
  • A drop-off point is available free of charge, space is limited

CAMERAS

  • Video and audio material recording for private purposes only
  • NO professional equipment (e.g. telephoto lenses, additional bags, additional lenses, tripods, screw-mountable cameras)

"WHITE VEST" PROTECTION CONCEPT (SIMILAR TO ‘LUISA IST HIER!’)

  • To make fans feel even safer in the stadium, we have introduced the ‘White Vest’ protection concept. Fans who feel threatened, harassed or otherwise uncomfortable/unsafe can get help here.

The date and kick-off time for Bayer 04’s match in the first round of the 2026/27 DFB Pokal have been confirmed. The Werkself face SV Wehen Wiesbaden on Saturday afternoon, 22 August, at 13:00 CEST. The German Football Association (DFB) announced this today, Wednesday. The Pokal tie against the Hessen state cup winners will be played at the BRITA Arena. Ticket information to follow at a later date.
