Bayer 04 welcome two new drinks partners: Haaner Felsenquelle is the new water partner, Früh Kölsch is the new Kölsch partner. At the start of the season, beer (Pils or Kölsch) costs €4.90 for 0.5 litres, fans will pay 30 cents more than in the 2022/23 season. Water (0.5 litres) goes up 10 cents and will cost €3.90. The increase for soft drinks such as Coca-Cola, Fanta and Apfelschorle (0.5 litres) is 20 cents, fans will now pay €4.50.
A price increase is also unavoidable with food: Fans will now pay €4.10 for a bratwurst, 20 cents more than last season. The increase for chips and pretzel is 30 cents and these now cost €3.50 and €3.80 respectively. The increased prices are due to rises in the purchase price of products as well as increased transport, logistics and personnel costs.
A new food option is Veggie corner. This is sited at the north east side of the BayArena. Products here include the vegan bratwurst (€4.40), vegan currywurst (€4.90) and ‘No-chicken’ nuggets (€4.90).
Also new is the kids menu for the youngest Bayer 04 fans. At a price of €4.90 there is an option between a mini bratwurst bun, six chicken nuggets or six broccoli nuggets served in a box with gummy bears and a little surprise from Bayer 04. The kids menu is exclusively available in the new family stand with the naming rights owned by Energieversorgung Leverkusen (EVL). The block, sited in lower tier A in the south-east of the BayArena (Blocks A1 to A3) is being reintroduced in the coming season following on from the Family Street and the Action Park of the early 2000's.
