BayArena Aktuell for home game against Slavia Prague

Last week saw Bayer 04 secure progress to the knockout rounds of the Europa League. In the final group match (Thursday, 10 December, 18.55 CET– live on Werks11 Radio and on DAZN), the Werkself are looking to finish top of the group against Slavia Prague. The BayArena Aktuell matchday magazine (in German) brings you up-to-date with the latest news on tonight's clash, the facts and stats, other reports from the Black and Reds camp plus an interview with Patrik Schick.

The Czech Republic striker was injured for the game at Slavia Prague to Schick's joy ahead of the return match is even greater and it has a special edge for him: "I was always a fan of Sparta Prague. And there is a huge rivalry between the two clubs. It will be a special game for me. Particularly as I know several of the Slavia players from the national team."

Exequiel Palacios joins Ipswich Town

After six and a half years, Exequiel Palacios is leaving the Bundesliga and moving from Bayer 04 to the Premier League. The Argentine, who as a Werkself player won the World Cup with his national team four years ago and finished as runners-up at this summer’s tournament, will play for newly promoted English side Ipswich Town with immediate effect.
