Vote now: 04 Werkself players nominated for Bundesliga Team of the Season 2025/26

Vote now! Video games manufacturer Electronic Arts (EA) and the German Football League (DFL) have launched the vote for the annual Bundesliga Team of the Season. Fans of the Werkself now have the opportunity to nominate 04 Werkself players for the top eleven of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. Edmond Tapsoba, Alejandro Grimaldo, Aleix Garcia and Ibrahim Maza have been nominated. Voting closes on Friday, 17 April (18:00 CEST).

Based on official Bundesliga match data, a total of 40 players who have been particularly impressive in the current season have been nominated.

The line-up for the Bundesliga Team of the Season will be decided by a panel. As with the monthly Bundesliga Player of the Month and Bundesliga Rookie of the Month awards, the panel is made up of fans (weighting: 40 per cent), the team captains of the 18 Bundesliga clubs (weighting: 30 per cent) and a number of pundits (weighting: 30 per cent) made up of Bundesliga legends and selected media partners.

The eleven best players, as well as one substitute, will be part of the Bundesliga Team of the Season presented by EA SPORTS and will receive significantly improved stats in EA FC 26.

The final Bundesliga Team of the Season will be announced on Wednesday, 29 April. The Player of the Season will also be announced around matchday 34. This trophy has previously gone to Leverkusen once - to Florian Wirtz in the 2023/24 championship season.

The Player of the Season will be determined by a separate club and pundit vote. For the first time, a POTS fan vote will be held on the Bundesliga app from 4 to 7 May.
