#B04eSports: Paul Degner leaves Bayer 04

Paul Degner and Bayer 04 have parted company ahead of the new season in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL). The teenager from Leichlingen was on the hunt for virtual goals for the Black and Reds since the autumn of last year. Degner came out on top in competition with numerous rivals to become the first #B04eSports talent.

The Bayer 04 fan was based in the newly founded #B04eSports academy in recent months with school lessons in the morning followed by professional eSports training in the afternoon. “It was an honour to represent Bayer 04 as the first #B04eSports talent,” said Degner, who primarily featured in the 2v2 games for the Werkself.
