DFB Cup Round of 16 tie confirmed

The day after the DFL confirmed the fixtures for Bundesliga matchdays 15 to 22, the German Football Association has announced the timings for DFB Cup Round of 16 ties: The Werkself play Borussia Mönchengladbach in the early evening on Wednesday 20 December.

The final competitive match of the year away to Mönchengladbach at Borussia Park is an 18.30 CET kick-off

The Rhine rivals last met in the Bundesliga on matchday nine: Heiko Herrlich's team came back from a goal down to inflict a crushing 5-1 home defeat on Gladbach.

Tickets for the Round of 16 tie on 20 December at Borussia Mönchengladbach will probably go on pre-sale at the end of November.
