The second round cup ties will be played between Bundesliga matchdays 9 and 10 – for the Werkself that means between the away derby at FC Köln (24 October) and the home game against VfL Wolfsburg (30/31 October). Sky will broadcast the match against KSC live and the game can also be followed on Werkself Radio.

Three games, three wins: Bayer 04 secured a 2–0 victory at Greek Cup winners OFI Crete with Jonas Hofmann scoring both goals at the Pankritio Stadium, right on the Mediterranean coast (35’, 38’).
