
Bayern finished in 12th place in the league phase and had to go through the play-offs to reach the round of 16, beating Celtic 3-2 on aggregate.
The first leg will be played in Munich on 4 or 5 March, with the return leg at the BayArena a week later on 11 or 12 March. The exact schedule will be confirmed in due course.
Advance ticket sales for the home match will begin next Tuesday, 25 February, from 12:00 CET. More information can be found HERE. Tickets will go on sale for the away leg on the following day, Wednesday 26 February, at the same time.

In addition to the draw for the round of 16, the bracket for the rest of the tournament was also determined in Nyon, Switzerland.
If Bayer 04 progress to the quarter-finals, they already know that either Feyenoord or Inter Milan will be waiting for them.
The quarter-finals are set for 8/9 and 15/16 April, the semi-finals on 29/30 April and 6/7 May. The final at Munich's Allianz Arena will take place on 31 May.


In the 3-2 defeat at Bundesliga newcomers SV 07 Elversberg, the Werkself found the back of the net in the closing stages and, with a bit of luck, could still have equalised. “Today, our play wasn’t good enough, particularly when it came to the basics,” said head coach Carles Martínez. Two quick-fire goals from Lukas Petkov (8’) and Cole Campbell (10’) gave the hosts an early lead, before David Mokwa scored the Saarland side’s third shortly after half-time (46’). Following their successful start away to RB Leipzig, the Bayer 04 women’s team are set to play their first home match of the new Bundesliga season on Sunday. The Werkself host VfL Wolfsburg at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium at 16:00 CEST. Coach Roberto Pätzold is hoping for a courageous performance against the seven-time German champions.
