Dates now set

The first leg in Greece will be played on either Wednesday, 18 February at 21:00 CET. The return fixture at the BayArena will be the following Tuesday, 24 February at the same time.

Tickets for the away leg will be exclusively available for club members and season ticket holders from 4 February. Sales for the home leg will begin on 5 February.

Rolfes: "Chance for revenge"

Speaking after the draw, managing director sport Simon Rolfes said: “Olympiacos is obviously an appealing draw because we lost there just recently. That annoyed us, so we’re excited for the chance to get revenge. The team is motivated to do better. I believe we can learn and are ready to approach the game correctly.”

Should the Werkself progress, they will learn their round of 16 opponent in the draw on 27 February. That would be against either Bayern Munich or Arsenal, with the first leg in Leverkusen.

The round of 16 fixtures will be played on 10/11 and 17/18 March, the quarter-finals on 7/8 and 14/15 April, the semi-finals on 28/29 April and 5/6 May, with the final in Budapest on Saturday, 30 May.
