“Bayer 04 stands for ambitious football, innovative spirit and a commitment to breaking new ground. It is precisely these values that connect us with the concept of car subscriptions: mobility is becoming simpler, more flexible and adapts to people’s lives,” says Markus Breglec, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. “We’re delighted that, through our partnership with DRIVIO, we can bring our shared values to the pitch and onto the road. Bayer 04 and DRIVIO – it’s a perfect fit.”
For Gert Schaub, Managing Director of DRIVIO, the expansion of this business partnership is also a personal and emotional matter. “Bayer 04 and DRIVIO are both based in Leverkusen – and that is precisely why this partnership feels so special to us,” said Schaub. “I have been a loyal fan of the club for many years and have business ties through my companies. This makes it all the more wonderful to see DRIVIO as a premium partner at the BayArena from now on.”
TV exposure through LED perimeter advertising and cam carpets during Werkself home matches is just one element of the newly revised partnership. Furthermore, the DRIVIO logo will be integrated in a media-friendly manner before, during and after matches on all interview backdrops around the touchline, in the mixed zone and at press conferences. Hospitality services round off DRIVIO’s contractual rights, as do the opportunity to produce content featuring professional players at the club, access to Bayer 04 merchandise, and the chance to take part in sponsor trips to away matches in the Europa League.

Under the slogan ‘Holidays without War’, 60 children from war-torn Ukraine took part in the summer camp organised by the German-Ukrainian association Blau-Gelbes Kreuz in Leverkusen and the surrounding area in August. The children aged between 10 and 14 – many of whom have lost their parents in the war – come from the Ukrainian twin towns of Leverkusen, Cologne and Monheim am Rhein: Nikopol, Dnipro and Volodymyr. Bayer 04, Bayer AG and TSV Bayer 04 supported the camp to mark its 10th anniversary, enabling even more children and young people than in previous years to spend a few carefree days’ holiday away from the war in the Rhineland.
