Bayer 04 and Tipwin extend Premium partnership
Bayer 04 and sports betting company Tipwin have agreed a new deal. The two parties agreed a three-year extension to the current Premium partnership – the contract runs to 30 June 2022.
Fernando Carro, chairman of the board at Bayer 04, said: "The ambitious operating principles of our partner Tipwin fits in brilliantly with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. I'm very happy about the extension to our tried-and-tested and amicable collaboration."
"Tipwin are fully committed to the current partnership with Bayer 04 Leverkusen and we therefore didn't find it difficult to agree to the extension," said Dr. Damir Böhm, head of the legal department at Tipwin and specialist in gambling law at the chambers of Böhm & Hilbert. "Our target is to establish technical measures in the sports betting market, be as professional as possible and yet work in an informal atmosphere. That is easy to agree with a club like Bayer 04."
The contract between the Champions League participants Bayer 04 and the private sports betting company includes comprehensive logos in the stadium interior, TV-relevant presence on additional advertising media for Bayer 04 home games plus services on digital platforms. Tipwin have been successful in the German market since 2014. The number of betting outlets has grown to around 600 at present.

Diaby homecoming caps off big win at the BayArena
“Diaby! Diaby! Diaby!” was the cry around the BayArena as the Werkself danced in front of the north stand following their 4-0 win over Union Berlin. Captain Edmond Tapsoba gave his new (and old) teammate a friendly shove forward to take in the acclaim from the fans. The returning Frenchman was typically reserved in thanking the supporters but was clearly emotional about what was happening.

Werkself thrash Union Berlin 4-0 in first home game
Bayer 04 produced a dominant and impressive 4-0 win over Union Berlin as they picked up three points in their first home game of the 2026/27 Bundesliga campaign. Exequiel Fernández opened the scoring after only 41 seconds, with Facundo Medina doubling the lead before the half-hour mark. Patrik Schick and Ibrahim Maza continued the procession in the second period, in which Moussa Diaby came on for his first Leverkusen appearance for over three years.
