The Werkself have only lost one of their last 15 games against Werder Bremen (seven wins, seven draws). However, the Black and Reds did not win at home in four out of the last five games against Werder. The only win was on 14 April 2024, an historic day for Bayer 04: The Werkself won 5-0 to secure the league title for the first time in the club's history.
Werder Bremen are the second weakest team in the Bundesliga Rückrunde to date above FC Heidenheim. The North Germans have only picked up four points in seven games. The 24 goals conceded by Werder are more than any other side in 2025.
Werder Bremen are currently going through a tricky phase. The Green and Whites have lost their last five games in succession. The team under coach Ole Werner did make a very promising start to the season and were seventh in the table two points behind Eintracht Frankfurt in third spot at the end of last year – thereby achieving their best points return since the 2011/12 season.
