The Werkself have not won as many Bundesliga home games against any other team as they have against Eintracht Frankfurt (24). The last time Eintracht picked up a point in Leverkusen was ten years ago. The last win for the Eagles at the BayArena was on 15 December 2013 and the following season saw a 1-1 draw in Leverkusen. But since then the Werkself have had the edge in all the home games against Eintracht with nine wins on the bounce – and that with a goal difference of 31 to 4.
Goals appear to be guaranteed today as there has not been a single goalless draw in 78 Bundesliga meetings between the Werkself and Eintracht Frankfurt. The chance of goals in today's game is also likely with top marksmen on both sides. Victor Boniface has scored four goals in the league so far. Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush is currently top scorer in the Bundesliga with eight goals (plus four assists) and thereby also holds a club record for Eintracht Frankfurt after six matches. Eintracht’s Hugo Ekitiké has scored five goals (plus four assists).
The Eagles have made their best start to a season in twelve years. They are unbeaten in seven games. Eintracht also stand out with fast transition play and clinical efficiency. Five goals in counter-attacks is the highest number in the league this term. The Frankfurt side do not need much possession. On the contrary: They only had 26.6% of the ball in the 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich. Eintracht have an average of 38.4% possession – only VfL Wolfsburg (37.1%) have less. Further information on today's opposition can be found in our lowdown on the next opponents.

Brych’s assistants today are Philipp Hüwe and Mitja Stegemann and Günter Perl is the VAR.
