With the exception of Lucas Alario and Leon Bailey, all the players in action at the Weserstadion on Sunday night completed a recovery session at the gym in the BayArena at the start of another busy week. The group included Lars Bender and Karim Bellarabi who had to be substituted at half-time in Bremen. According to the medics the duo are on the road to recovery. However, there is a question mark over the pair being fit for Wednesday's DFB Cup tie at Gladbach. Leon Bailey, who played almost all of the second 45 at Werder Bremen, left the trainig pitch earlier than his team-mates to prevent overexertion. The training group included returness Panagiotis Retsos, Julian Baumgartlinger and Charles Aránguiz.
