DFL schedules matchdays 6 to 12 - Saturday night home game against BVB

The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the details for matchdays six to twelve in the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. Read on for details of the fixtures.

The home game against Union Berlin and the away game at Mainz 05 are both on Saturdays at 15:30 CET/CEST, the following clash with SC Freiburg in the BayArena is on a Sunday afternoon at 15:30. The top match at Bayern Munich kicks off on a Saturday night at 18:30 CET.

The fixtures continue with two matches on Saturday afternoons - first at home against FC Heidenheim, then away to VfL Wolfsburg - followed by a home clash against Borussia Dortmund. The top match is a Saturday night game in Leverkusen at 18:30 CET.

Exequiel Palacios joins Ipswich Town

After six and a half years, Exequiel Palacios is leaving the Bundesliga and moving from Bayer 04 to the Premier League. The Argentine, who as a Werkself player won the World Cup with his national team four years ago and finished as runners-up at this summer’s tournament, will play for newly promoted English side Ipswich Town with immediate effect. The 27-year-old, whose contract in Leverkusen was due to run until 30 June 2030, joined Bayer 04 in January 2020 as a promising young talent. He steadily developed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the German top flight.
