DFL schedules Matchdays 25 to 27 – Sunday night in Stuttgart
The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the schedule for Matchdays 25 to 27 in the 2024/25 Bundesliga season. Read on for overview of fixtures.
The Werkself play the Bundesliga home game against Werder Bremen on Saturday, 8 March (kick-off: 15.30 CET) in between the two Round of 16 matches in the Champions League (opponents to be confirmed).
The following away game at VfB Stuttgart is on Sunday night, 16 March with the kick-off at 19.30 CET. Then comes the final international break before the end of the season. After that there is a home game against VfL Bochum to be played on Friday, 28 March at 20.30 CET.

Zonal defence: Goalkeeping coach training course at the BayArena
Since 2023, Bayer 04 has been organising regular free goalkeeping coach training sessions at the BayArena. As in previous years, the event attracted enormous interest in mid-October 2026. Around 140 participants – mostly goalkeeping coaches from the region, but also team and academy coaches as well as association staff – came to the Werkself stadium to gain expert knowledge on the subject of zonal marking. Through a theoretical keynote presentation and a practical session on the pitch, the participants gained insights into goalkeeping and goalkeeper training at Bayer 04.
