Apart from the 18 Bundesliga fixtures on the last two matchdays, with simultaneous Saturday afternoon kick-offs at 15.30 CET as usual, the Werkself are in action on matchdays 30 to 32 as follows:
The clash with the German record champions is on Saturday, 6 June, at 15.30 CET at the BayArena. On the following weekend, the Werkself are away to Schalke 04 on Sunday, 14 June, with the kick-off at 18.00 CET. Three days later, Bayer 04 are at home to FC Köln on Wednesday, 17 June (20.30 CET) in the derby with the Rhine rivals.
The matches will all be played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Diaby! Diaby! Diaby!” was the cry around the BayArena as the Werkself danced in front of the north stand following their 4-0 win over Union Berlin. Captain Edmond Tapsoba gave his new (and old) teammate a friendly shove forward to take in the acclaim from the fans. The returning Frenchman was typically reserved in thanking the supporters but was clearly emotional about what was happening.

Bayer 04 produced a dominant and impressive 4-0 win over Union Berlin as they picked up three points in their first home game of the 2026/27 Bundesliga campaign. Exequiel Fernández opened the scoring after only 41 seconds, with Facundo Medina doubling the lead before the half-hour mark.
