
Following the matches at Elversberg and against Union, Matchdays 3 and 4 feature Bayer 04 away at Augsburg and at home to RB Leipzig. The Bundesliga then takes a break for the first international matches of the new season.
A week after the home meeting with VfB Stuttgart, the first derby of the new season against FC Köln takes place in early November in Cologne on Matchday 9. The first clash with Borussia Dortmund (away) takes place at the end of the month, on Matchday 11, .
The final Bundesliga fixture of 2026 is a home game at the BayArena. The opponents on Matchday 14 are Eintracht Frankfurt.
The new year kicks off with an away trip to face Hamburger SV, followed in mid-January on Matchday 16 by the first fixture against Bayern Munich (away) as part of a midweek round of fixtures. The Werkself round off the first half of the campaign the following weekend with a home match against Schalke 04. A week later, the second half of the season gets underway at the BayArena with the reverse fixture against Elversberg.
In line with the normal procedure, the exact dates and times will be finalised in due course as the season progresses.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed home-grown talent Sana Coskun on professional terms. The 18-year-old midfielder, who made her Bundesliga debut last season, has signed a contract to 30 June 2029.

Attacking midfielder Paulina Bartz is leaving Bayer 04 Leverkusen for good on a permanent move to Hamburger SV in the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga. The 21-year-old, who was on loan to the newly promoted side in the winter, originally had a contract to 2027.
