Werkself working from home
Taking account of the current health situation and restrictions on the public to combat coronavirus, Bayer 04 Leverkusen have cancelled communal training for all teams at Leverkusen until further notice.
That means the members of the senior squad will now follow long-prepared training schedules at home.
Bayer 04 will endeavour to hold communal training sessions for the first team squad again as soon as possible as the situation permits. This will be exclusively based on the provisions of the relevant authorities.

Bayer 04 won 2-0 at Manchester City on Matchday 5 of the league phase in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League! Alejandro Grimaldo scored before half-time and Patrik Schick added another after the break for a Werkself side that had been hit by numerous personnel losses before their trip to England.

6-0 defeat in the Youth League - U19s downed by Manchester City
After a goalless and at times evenly-matched first half, Bayer 04's U19s ultimately suffered a heavy defeat at Manchester City. Coach Kevin Brok's depleted side - including five players who were part of the senior squad for the Champions League game in the evening - lost 6-0 on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Youth League.
