Bayer 04 fans can cast their votes until Sunday, 27 September (23:59 CEST). Alongside Miguel Gutiérrez, the other nominees are Michael Olise (Bayern Munich), Phillip Tietz (Mainz 05), Maximilian Mittelstädt (VfB Stuttgart), Igor Matanovic and Yannik Engelhardt (both SC Freiburg).
The final result is calculated as follows: 40 per cent of the weighting comes from fans’ votes, with 30 per cent each from the 18 team captains and a panel of pundits.
