Also shortlisted alongside the Spaniard are Serhou Guirassy (VfB Stuttgart), Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane (both FC Bayern Munich), Xavi Simons and David Raum (both RB Leipzig). The final result is calculated as follows: 40 per cent of the weighting is made up of the fans' votes, and 30 per cent each by the 18 team captains and various experts.
