HERE are the 11 Goals of the Month available to vote for.
The nominees:
Ayman Aourir (July 2021)
17-year-old Ayman Aourir scored with a spectacular free kick in the match between the Leverkusen U19s and Karlsruher SC. The Leverkusen youth player hit the ball from the edge of the box through the wall leaving the opposition keeper with no chance as he netted the opening goal.
Lisanne Gräwe (August 2021)
Lisanne Gräwe scored a real wonder goal in her first league match for the Black and Reds: After the FC Carl Zeiss Jena goalkeeper took a misplaced goal kick, the ball landed in midfield at the feet of the Leverkusen player Kristin Kögel. She played a diagonal ball to teammate Gräwe, who did not hesitate as she looked to finish. The shot from the player from Rheda-Wiedenbrück sailed through the air into the top corner of the opposition net. Precise work.

Exequiel Palacios (September 2021)
From a fast counter-attack, the Werkself defender Jeremie Frimpong was able to play the ball back from the baseline in the opposition box to the young Argentinian Exequiel Palacios. He hit a wonderful shot looping the ball into the top left corner – unstoppable!
Iker Bravo (October 2021)
The next potential Goal of the Season it is worth a look. In the U 19 Bundesliga West game against Fortuna Düsseldorf, centre forward Iker Bravo achieved a rare feat: From a high cross into the penalty area, the young Spaniard did a bicycle kick to put the ball exactly in the bottom left corner.
Moussa Diaby (November 2021)
After finishing third in the vote for Player of the Season, Moussa Diaby now has the chance to finish top in the vote for the Goal of the Season. In the Europa League home game against Celtic, the young Frenchman hit an unstoppable volley from the edge of the penalty area across the opposition keeper Joe Hart for the final goal of the game at 3-2. Skilful!
Patrik Schick (December 2021)

The strike came at the end of a a Werkself counter-attack with a long ball from Piero Hincapie into the penalty area. The Czech Republic international put a targeted header into the net at full speed from level with the penalty spot.
Lucas Alario (January 2022)
The Werkself again produced their powerful football at the start of the Rückrunde. Robert Andrich skilfully chipped the ball over the opposition defence to find Lucas Alario who was able to put the ball through the legs of the keeper with a disguised back heel.

Jonathan Tah (February 2022)
In the away game at Borussia Dortmund, defender Jonathan Tah was in the right place for a set piece: The corner was first cleared by Dortmund's Dan-Axel Zagadou but it landed at the feet of Tah. He was able to volley the ball into the top corner of the opposition net.
Jardell Kanga (March 2022)

Lucas Alario (April 2022)
Another Lucas Alario goal has also been nominated for Goal of the Season. From an impressive cross by winger Moussa Diaby, the centre forward only needed two quick contacts in the penalty area before hammering the ball into the roof of the net.
Exequiel Palacios (May 2022)
Not to be forgotten in the vote for Goal of the season is the final strike in the 2021/22 season by Exequiel Palacios against SC Freiburg. In the final minute of the home game, Freiburg keeper Mark Flekken went up but the Black and Reds won the ball in their own half. Almost on the halfway line, the midfielder saw the empty goal in front of him and shot without hesitation – the ball was in from almost 50 metres out and the celebrations in front of a full house at the BayArena were massive.

But they come up against a team fighting for their Bundesliga lives at the bottom of the table, 10 points adrift of safety with time running out.
