Vote for Boniface as BL Rookie of the Month

The German Football League (DFL) has named the three nominees for the title of Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for August. Werkself player Victor Boniface is one of the three players nominated. Black and Red fans can vote for the striker from 16.00 CEST this Monday afternoon.

The Werkself number 22 has been nominated alongside goalkeeper Noah Atubolu (SC Freiburg) and Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig) for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month vote.

Black and Red fans can vote for the Bayer 04 new signing up to Thursday 7 September at 23.59 CEST. Click here to vote. The final result will be determined as follows: 40% of the votes come from the fans, with 30% each from the 18 team captains and a number of pundits.

Boniface joined Bayer 04 in the summer from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise. In the four games he's played for the Werkself, the 22-year-old has already scored five goals and provided two assists.

December Goal of the Month: Vote now for Martin Terrier!

After being nominated for the Bundesliga Goal of the Year 2025, Martin Terrier's wonderful strike for the opener against FC Köln is now also up for selection for the ARD Sportschau Goal of the Month award for December 2025. Bayer 04 fans have until 19:00 CET on 10 January to vote for the French forward.
