The Werkself number 22 has been nominated alongside goalkeeper Noah Atubolu (SC Freiburg) and Xavi Simons (RB Leipzig) for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month vote.
Black and Red fans can vote for the Bayer 04 new signing up to Thursday 7 September at 23.59 CEST. Click here to vote. The final result will be determined as follows: 40% of the votes come from the fans, with 30% each from the 18 team captains and a number of pundits.
Boniface joined Bayer 04 in the summer from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise. In the four games he's played for the Werkself, the 22-year-old has already scored five goals and provided two assists.
Video game producer Electronic Arts (EA) has announced the nominees for the Men's and Women's Team of the Year (TOTY) for EA Sports FC 26. With Patrik Schick and Alejandro Grimaldo for the men and Vanessa Fudalla for the women, there are three Bayer 04 players included. The long-standing successful collaboration between Bayer 04 and the transport service provider wupsi GmbH has been expanded: From January 2026, 100 wupsi bikes with Bayer 04 branding will be available for hire throughout the city of Leverkusen.
