Tickets for season opener against Pisa SC

Calling all Bayer 04 fans: The Werkself will play Pisa SC, newly promoted to Serie A, at the BayArena as part of the season opener. The clash with the club from Tuscany is on Tuesday, 5 August with the kick-off at 18:00 CET. Entrance to the stadium with a wide range of entertainment provided is possible from 15:00 CEST. Read on for information on ticket sales for the season opener.

Tickets go on sale to Bayer 04 Club members and season card holders from Tuesday, 8 July, from 12:00 CEST. Open sales start the day after on Wednesday, 9 July, also at 12:00 CEST.

Exciting programme - Highlights for members

In addition to the sporting highlight of the friendly against Pisa at the season opener, fans can expect an exciting programme with lots of games and activities in and around the BayArena. Bayer 04 Club members can also look to exclusive offers such as discounted tickets (see price chart). Further information on exclusive highlights members to follow.

Fans, who are not yet members, can also sign up as members and thereby benefit from the offers

Distribution:

Tickets are exclusively available on the Bayer 04 app and can only be used from there. Tickets can be administered on the app (to forward on the app, download to wallet or print@home).

Information on ticket sales:

Every season card holder will receive an email with the discount code for a maximum of 10 tickets to use at the online shop. This reduces the cost of tickets to €5.
Ticket sales will initially start for the blocks on the lower tier with blocks on the upper tier released as required.
Tickets for the Bayer 04 home end (Blocks SC-SE, C-E) are only available to Bayer 04 Club members.
Tickets for the visitors are also available via the Bayer 04 online shop. The away end for this game is in Blocks H1 and H2. All other areas (including G4 and G5, plus SG1-SG3 are only for home support for this game).

Bayer 04 transfer Kerim Alajbegovic to Juventus

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed Kerim Alajbegovic’s transfer to Italian record champions Juventus. The club brought the 18-year-old attacking player back to Leverkusen this summer via a buy-back option, following a season at Red Bull Salzburg. Until his move to Austria, the Bosnia international had been playing for Bayer 04’s Under-19s.

Start of preseason training camp: Werkself arrive in Weimarer Land

A warm welcome to the Weimarer Land, Bayer 04! The Werkself moved into their accommodation for this year’s training camp on Saturday evening. In Blankenhain, Thuringia, head coach Carles Martínez’s team have a programme of gruelling training sessions – several of which will be open to fans – and team-building activities lined up for the next six days. With 22 days to go until the start of the Bundesliga campaign, the Bayer 04 Women’s team have gained a fresh boost of confidence. In a friendly against Belgian top-flight side KRC Genk on Saturday afternoon, coach Roberto Pätzold’s team secured a 1–0 win. Lobke Loonen (20’) scored the winner for the Black and Reds at the Kurtekotten training centre.
