After consulting the VAR, referee Harm Osmers interpreted Alario's contact with FC Köln's Dominik Maroh as violent conduct. Alario, with seven goals in the Bundesliga to date, is now suspended for the forthcoming fixtures against FC Augsburg (31 March), RB Leipzig (9 April) and Eintracht Frankfurt (14 April).
