Thigh strain: Jonas Hofmann out for rest of year
Jonas Hofmann won't be available again for German double winners Bayer 04 Leverkusen for the remainder of the calendar year.
The attacker suffered a muscle strain in his left thigh during yesterday's final training session ahead of the Bundesliga match against 1. FC Heidenheim 1846, as confirmed by an MRI scan late on Friday afternoon. Hofmann's return to the Bayer 04 squad is envisaged for the start of January 2025.
