There has never been so much information about our lads before: On our team page we introduce our Werkself with an animated full screen slider carousel.
If you click on the picture of Bernd Leno then another page opens with the image of our goalkeeper. In addition, you will find a gallery with the most up-to-date and impressive photos of our number one. Plus a profile with the most important personal data, statistics about Bernd, all news relating to him and his posts on his official social media channels. If you want to know what our international goalkeeper is revealing about himself on Instagram then you can find that out on the team page of Bayer 04 without having to have your own Instagram account. That keeps you fully up-to-date gives you an insight into all the aspects of our players – both on and off the pitch.
Of course, the primary focus is on the whole team. You can see the squad organised according to positions. You can also get to know the coaching staff, look at stats, the fixture list, table and great pictures. And you can also find out information about the support staff – the team behind the team.
We pay particular attention to our Werkself. We also provide space to introduce and present our other teams. With one click on the navigation bar you can quickly and easily move to our Youth pages. Here there is news on all youth teams, information on the youth section, the Academy, all fixtures, photos and Bayer 04 TV contributions.
One more click and you're on the U19 page with an overview of the squad, short profiles of the players and coaches plus the current results and the Bundesliga Under 19 league table. And then you can go from the U17s down to the U8s. Our Youth is our future.
We do exactly the same with our Bayer 04 Women. From the second division squad to the U13 girls team - all are part of Bayer 04 and are appropriately presented.
Last but not least you will find our Veterans team with its many legendary players like Simon Rolfes, Calle Ramelow, Jens Nowotny, Markus Happe and Hans-Peter Lehnhoff. The team under manager Dirk Dreher and coach Gerd Kentschke don't just live on their great reputation but also equal rely on former reserve players who now represent the club in an exemplary manner in the Veterans team.
On our team page, we have endeavoured to combine a wealth of information with clarity and an attractive design – because all teams matter to us so much. And because we want to bring them closer to you than ever before.
