
The 21-year-old central defender suffered a muscle problem at Germany’s training camp in Grassau that has been diagnosed as a torn groin muscle.
Tah will now start his rehab back in Leverkusen at the BayArena. And he will also have his fingers crossed for Leverkusen team-mate Dominik Kohr and the rest of the U21 team. The Germany team, coached by Stefan Kuntz , start the European Championships on Sunday 18 June with the opening game against the Czech Republic.

Black and Red stand out. Under the slogan ‘Diversity under the Cross’, Bayer 04 took part in Pride on the Rhine at the weekend alongside the queer fan club “Bayer 04 Junxx”. The club mascot, Brian the Lion, and several members of staff were also in attendance, championing diversity and solidarity.
