Retsos leaves Bayer 04 to join Hellas Verona
Bayer 04 Leverkusen's versatile defender Panagiotis Retsos has signed for Italian top-flight side Hellas Verona before his contract ran out in the summer of 2022.
The 23-year-old Greece international made his final appearance for Bayer 04 last Saturday in the 5-1 win for the Werkself against FC Augsburg. Retsos was signed in 2017 from Olympiakos."Panos has always stood out as a great team player but unfortunately he suffered injury setbacks again and again in his early years with us. We wish him lots of success in his move to Italy," said Bayer 04 sporting director Simon Rolfes.

#B04eSports: Leverkusen lose out to favourites SC Freiburg in quarter-finals of VBL CC finals
It was the end of the road for the #B04eSports team against SC Freiburg.
