Positive Covid-19 test: Sinkgraven misses Frankfurt game

Bayer 04 Leverkusen will have to manage without left-back Daley Sinkgraven in the Bundesliga away game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday 2 January (kick-off: 15.30 CET). The Dutchman is not available for the game against Eintracht following final confirmation of a positive coronavirus test from last week.

Sinkgraven was excluded from the training restart on 28 December as a precaution following a coronavirus test taken in Leverkusen on 23 December that indicated a possible positive. The player has been in self-isolation since then and a follow-up test confirmed the result.
