The Dutch wingback received a heavy blow to his right thigh but there is no serious injury and he will be able to train with the Bayer 04 squad in the coming week. The painful injury in the match in Leipzig marked the end of the game for Frimpong after 30 minutes.

The talented attacking midfielder has signed a long-term contract with the Austrian club.
