Open training, a friendly and more: the Werkself start to the new year

The short winter break his nearly over and the Werkself return to Leverkusen tomorrow, Thursday 2 January. The first training session for the team under head coach Xabi Alonso is open to fans and starts at 19.00 CET at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium.

The other training sessions in the first week of the year are closed sessions. The one and only friendly in the winter break for the Werkself is next Sunday, 5 January, at the Ulrich Haberland Stadium. The game against Regional League side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen kicks off at 12.00 CET. All the tickets have been sold but there will be a free live stream on Werkself TV and on YouTube.

The first competitive match for Bayer 04 in 2025 is on Friday, 10 January (kick-off: 20.30 CET) away to Borussia Dortmund. Away tickets for the first fixture of the year for the German double winners are sold out. The first home game at the BayArena is against Mainz 05 on Tuesday, 14 January (kick-off: 20.30 CET).
